A: This depends on the initial moisture content of your briquettes and your chosen heat source. However, thanks to our heavy insulation and efficient air circulation, our system is exceptionally economical. As a baseline, to dry one ton of charcoal briquettes (from ~35% moisture down to 5%), you can expect to use approximately 150-200 kg of wood or 100-150 kg of coal as fuel for the furnace.
Q3: Will my briquettes break or get damaged when they drop from one layer to the next?
A: No. The drop height between layers is intentionally very short (typically 20-30 cm). By the time the briquettes make their first drop, they have already been partially dried on the top layer, making them hard enough to easily withstand the gentle tumble. This process is actually beneficial as it ensures they are fully turned over for uniform drying.
